New application process for official awards and advancement

Comrades,

It is my pleasure to be able to announce that we are now creating a streamlined application process for both official forum awards (IPF ribbons and decorations) as well as for advancement within the movement from IBM Brother status to ILM Comrade and eventually to induction into the elite and venerable ranks of the IPF itself.

The selection process was formerly administered directly by our HQ staff but we have experienced a large influx of new members and as such, it is becoming increasingly time consuming for us to individually vet each prospective recipient of a ribbon/award or potential inductee into the ILM or IPF so we are making this an open-ended application process.

The prerequisites for all official awards are explained in the link which is featured at the bottom of the corresponding application and the criteria for advancement to both the ILM and the IPF are likewise stipulated in the respective application.

Every applicant will be carefully vetted by the HQ staff and will be informed whether his application is accepted or rejected. If it is rejected, we will provide a detailed explanation as to why so that the comrade may improve upon whatever deficiencies existed.
