In my generation, there was a saying "they eat bread and onion".

Basically it was known the fact that millennial generation was consuming the wealth of boomers, producing nothing and they were consuming the university system bringing it to ruin. It was known to everyone, and everyone complained about the legion of millennial complainers who get a title in humanities, sociology or communication sciences and aspire to become eceleb instead of opening industries or something useful.

It was said that the millennial eats bread and onion, because they spent all their money on clubbing and clothing. Its just a saying... but I seen it in real life.

When I was a young incel in the equivalent of an american college campus, I didnt pay the lodging. There was another normie in my room and he was as the meme describes. The normie didnt have money to eat food, he was spending it all on haircut and clothing and chasing girls. He was studying the bare minimum, getting mediocre grades, and he studied only when it was close to exams. This normie wasnt eating exactly bread and onion, but close. This normie was eating bread and butter.

I couldnt believe my eyes, he was a living meme. He was eating nothing but bread and butter, and he also stole my food. I had to take measures against him, because he didnt know how to cook, he didnt know ho to clean. He was a complete doofus who only cares about party an clubbing and "looking good". In the period of 3 years he didnt catch 1 pussy. I also ruined on purpose some of his group-mating strategies bcause I hated him. Its the first time I cockblocked someone its another story.
