Basically it was known the fact that millennial generation was consuming the wealth of boomers, producing nothing and they were consuming the university system bringing it to ruin. It was known to everyone, and everyone complained about the legion of millennial complainers who get a title in humanities, sociology or communication sciences and aspire to become eceleb instead of opening industries or something useful.

It was said that the millennial eats bread and onion, because they spent all their money on clubbing and clothing. Its just a saying... but I seen it in real life.

When I was a young incel in the equivalent of an american college campus, I didnt pay the lodging. There was another normie in my room and he was as the meme describes.
