Members of the IPF/ ILM, etc, we all know that once upon a time, "incels" were the hot, in-vogue thing for the media and law enforcement to panic about, and demonize. The height of that fearmongering has likely subsided now, and has for a few years. Similar to the Satanic panic of the 80s.

So now, according to the news or other media, what is the law enforcement of your own country currently hyping up or panicking about? In the US, it's all about "ICE" this and "Charlie Kirk" that. It *was* the Epstein files before that, but that went away pretty quickly.

The US has begun its totalitarian slide into the proverbial abyss insofar as any one who is concerned with the constitutional restrictions on the executive cares. The focus of federal agencies has been and will continue to be whatever Trump dictates it ought to be by imperial fiat. Local, state and county agencies will still primarily be concerned with order maintenance and general crime prevention type law enforcement. The politicization of the federal government is disconcerting to say the least and it will have a tangible impact on modulating investigative priorities for the fbi, atf, usms, usss, cia, etc.

UK is the worst, they send good looking undercover female cops to jog and if you try and flirt with them or whatever they’ll detain you for harassment. I’m like wtf? No wonder the birth rate is collapsing.

If he had said that two years ago I would have deduced that the country in question was either some South American dictatorship like Venezuela or a some sub-Saharan African failed state but I actually think that this is an apt description of the state of affairs in the US at present or nearly so.

Some clarifications:
-Most people who get sued for insulting the president/national values don't receive a prison sentence. Their punishment is usually converted to a fine (I don't know how much).
-Drug issue is a relatively new one. It's nowhere near South America level. We don't have entire junkie neighborhoods or cartel wars. Moral panic is slowly creeping in nonetheless.
-Diploma and masters/phd fraud is a longstanding problem but the general public started learning about it very recently after some well-known people's diplomas were exposed to be fake.
