Forum-wide experiment to gauge surveillance

So the other day I stated my reasoning for resuming activity here. That is, an intrusive and insulting search when I re-entered a US port of entry. They seized my phone, looked through everything, and stopped just short of shoving a camera up my ass. The reason? They claimed it was random, or just due to "probable cause" or whatever. I was held for 2 hours, and I ultimately had to be released because I AM NOT A FUCKING TERRORIST, YOU FBI FUCKS. You really do owe me an apology for that, but I would be surprised.

I don't buy the "random" thing. Just like Darth said at the end of his video with SlyBoy, where a group of cops seized him and questioned him. The police told him it was a "routine training thing", which was BS. I fully believe I was violated because of my affiliation here, however brief and insignificant. And/ or, the Feds just want to remind me they can FUCK WITH ME whenever they want.

So here's my idea for an experiment: anyone in this forum who lives near the border, leave and then re-enter the US. It can be for vacation, or just a quick trip. If you live up near Darth in Michigan, this should be easy. Then, report back here with what your experience was like. If you are also seized, it will give us an idea of how paranoid they are. Just a few pointers:

Delete EVERYTHING from your phone, or other devices.
If they ask for a reason, or ask where you went (like they did with me) just have something ready to say.

PS, I just thought of this: Hindsight is 2020, though while they were searching me, and making me feel like a criminal, they apparently missed any possible clues to stop the recent Mosque shooting in San Diego. I'm not sure what kind of clues could have existed, or where they would have been posted (bluesky, facebook, discord) but that's what they need (cough cough) good informants for.

And there had to have been high coordination to detain and search me. I didn't cause trouble while outside the US, and I was allowed on a plane to leave the US (WTF????), but they apparently had me tagged and tracked in advance.

So Imagine what could have been done, what missed clues could have been had, if they didn't just want to bother me (or you, or Darth) for no reason.

Well, would you look at that. The mosque shooters WERE on the police radar. One of their moms called the police. You would think that tracking their cell phones, debit card purchases, etc would have worked.
