But if you notice incel membership pattens, they tend to go in spikes, when media portrays incels as "evil" more people join.
Nowadays the media is no longer writing all these articles about incels. Nowadays people dont care, theres no big sensation out there.
When media portray incels as "bad", usually you get a legion of shithead teens who self identify as the portrayal the media does of incels: stylized caricatures, heroes, lone warriors.
The media is giving us no significance, we are irrelevant.
Nobody pays attention to us
