In the past I was thinking its a thing in the west where we have in our history the idea of heroism and sacrifice and so on. I dont know anymore if this is true or not.
The idea in the victimhood pyramid is if you suffer then your conclusions about politics and world events are true, because your emotions are true. In the case of Logan Todd, his emotions have been interpreted by electronic celebrities who gave him rationalizations and taught him a "way to be" in this world. They taught him how to direct anger, and how to interpret his feelings, how to respond to humiliation when the "damn liberals" offend him, basically the "life coaches" taught life itself to logan and told him to direct all his energies in the support of MAGA-tardism.
What I personally realized is the power to define and interpret my own emotions also limited my claims in the victim hierarchy. Instead of giving me power, it made me weaker in front of people like Logan Todd. Despite my suffering is objectively demonstrable, I have confronted Logan Todd and I lost. I can verily claim that I have been oppressed by mafia, sexually humiliated, bullied (when I was in HS) and so on. I am also objectively poorer than avg, and by quite a lot. But when I meet the man who has all his emotions interpreted by life coaches or priests or ideologies I become "lower status" in the victimhood hierarchy.
Richer people have more money to pay the priestly class to give them symbolic power. But people like Logan Todd probably are not rich, they resort to collectivist framing of emotional narrations, they then become powerful with the backing of life coach narratives and electronic celebrities narrative power.
In the bible suffering is tied to righteousness and redemption, could it be the reason why Logan Todd feels superior? I dont know it anymore. I was thinking this guy Nietzsche maybe had a point, he was saying suffering can become a source of moral superiority, so when Logan expressed his victimism saying "women are bad therefore I became a misogynist" he accrued cultural capital to punish women for things happened in his own life. The more "suffering" the ecelebs interpret in the life of Logan Todd, the higher his cultural capital and the more the abuse of power he will do on internet forums.
I ask here, is there a way to contrast the normies? This guy Logan Todd has an entire support network that validate his fake suffering narrative. I dont have it. In the past the elites could have spent money to have clergy and ideologues on their side, but today the podcast hosts and electronic celebrites fulfill the same role in society. I noticed richer families in my local area stopped paying the local priests as much as they used to, in the recent times they were paying apple store "i-genius" to accrue cultural capital. Its very interesting how society changes.
What I hate about victimhood pyramid is that people who are demonstrably more oppressed for example by mafia, humiliation, poverty socially lose to someone whose suffering is narratively stronger. I said it in a provocative manner. If suffering gives power, then my friend with a bone disease should be powerful. But he isn’t. Therefore the whole "suffering = power" thing is fake in moral terms, but is true in practicality.

I am being provocative and I am saying if victim pyramid is what we want to do, then things should be different.
