I consider them the equivalent of D&D ruleset for the normies.
We nerds are highly literate so we read D&D manuals to understand the LARP. Normies instead have to be explained with oral narratoin how to perform a LARP. SO when it was invented the dating ideology the elites first brought us into masonry bootcamps then mass produced TV shows to educate the public.
And normies dont even see themselves as "LARPing" they think all these ideas come on their own
