"we have a christian ally out there"

This time I shitpost in general section because I think this comparison is a novelty never seen it before on the internet so I must have discovered it myself.
I want to talk about christian geopolitical fiction. Specifically about the book from Marco Polo "the million". Its a book of tales about china.
In medieval EU, christans circulated stories about a mythical priest named Gianni. This priest was supposed to be ruling a vast empire beyond the islamic world. The thing about this tale is that was used to motivate christians with the cope "we have a secret ally out there, we are not alone against islam".
The tale invents this idea there is a rich, powerful and militarily strong christian kingdom out there. But they live far away, isolated and they need "our help". If we mount a force against islam, this mythical kingdom will come to help us was the narrative.
Obviously it was fake, there was no christian kingdom in china, there was no priest Gianni. So when travels to china intensified the narrative was shifted. Now it was told the mythical christian kingdom with priest Gianni on the lead was in Africa. So there was not anymore a christian east but the religious authorities edited the story so people would believe in africa theres Gianni doing christianity.
"there is a secret powerful christian kingdom waiting for us to join forces with them, be strong buddies, together we can crush islam"
And this idea probably made people think christianity was already global and it took over. The big idea is you frame wars against islam as a global struggle to cleanse the muslims. So long normies believe it at least.
But what I noticed listening to american media is that contemporary politicians copy and paste this very very old medieval conspiracy theory. What they do today is they frame Israel as the "secret ally of the west and christianity".
You will obviously notice that israel is not christian. Yeah sure but in america the jews opened a dialog with the population, they have priest propagandists who "demonstrate" the similarities between judaism and christianity. In this open dialog, they narrate of these so called "common judeo christian values" that supposedly make israel a central part of "the west" and bond america to it.
In medieval EU they said "we have a christian ally in asia (later in africa). In america today they say "we have an ally in the middle east"
In medieval Eu they said "our ally is surrounded by muslims we need to help them". Today they say "israel is surrounded by muslims and they protect us against them".
They still anchor in normie heads the idea of a shared christian destiny. The ally today is israel, and they are "Our christian identity ancestors".
The only difference between the narratives is that israel is real and it exists. The christian kingdom in marco polo the million didnt exist. Whats the deception is to tell normies that israel is an "ally" and we have "judeo christian" values. Israel is jewish not christian. But besides this, the 2 narratives coincide.
When a Christian power feels culturally or geopolitically threatened by Islam, it imagines or elevates a "friendly" anti-islam power inside or beyond the Islamic world to motivate normies to go against them. Normies feel "we are not alone, we can make it". And then they go to war with this motivation "we gotta help our friends out there, the muslims surround them".
Of course these days the narrative I am talking about is severely compromised. Normies on normie media dont believe in jews as much as they used to. Even in the evangelical groups so often quoted online for being ultra-zionist, the youth doesnt believe this story. They have seminars where they take care to teach zionism 101 to the youth. But yeah I think my comparison stands anyway. What do you think?
