since im incel i done online course on MIT freeware courses in cinema history. There was a big section about french cinema.
Dont know what to say, i like french poetic realism more than italian neorealism. Indian neorealism is also cool, probably the truest variant.
other than that I didnt delve deeper because im not an intellectual type, I liked a lot italian western that was awesome.
