OK yes, I had actually read up on him before but obviously had found his story so underwhelming and uncompelling that I had since forgotten about him entirely. He lacked the sort of Bond villain charisma that ER possessed and certainly did not have the same ability to express himself in a manifesto type document which is the primary reason why ER is honored to the extent he is.
