Why do millennials and Gen Zers think that Gen Xers are the same as baby boomers ?

Boomer is an internet insult. I also like how it developed into an internet insult. Because I do not believe in sociology. I dont respect sociology titles. I do not respect the "generations sociology". So im more inclined to use the term "boomer" loosely, to express contempt for sociology. Its a fake science. I considered memes on the internet "truer" than any "generation sociology" or "generational war". I rather call boomer someone I dont like subjectively. No need to be precise according to "sociology definition"
