I discovered that EU was completed in 1959

I was 28. I discovered EU plans were done during 1959. This blew my mind.
When I was in school, the teachers were running delphi method asking us if we want to enter EU or not. Why asking, it was already done. But discussions about EU were introduced on a mass scale around 1990-2000 onward.
Before then, students of the 80s were also tested with delphi method but I would say the explosion of the topics was in the 90s.
We were led to believe it was about voting, some people vote yes some vote no. Some people are happy, some unhappy. But this wasnt the point, the point is elites finished planning EU in the 1950s. And we didnt know shit about it. They made us believe there was a choice to make, we participated in the choice.
Only my brother was wise enough to this situation, he recognized the deed was done. I took more time instead.
