When I was discussing religion online, I always had people telling me Im perfectly suited for islam. I never verified and overally I just focused on criticism of christianity and judaism and gnosticism.
One thing I didnt like is the jesus personality cult. I always thought if you want to have a philosophical approach you can do like jefferson and remove all the personality cult around jesus and just focus on his philosophy removing everything that is unnecessary. Overall I can take some lessons from christianity but just when I remove the personality cults and all these nonsense stuff. I absolutely am willing to take all greek thought and hellenistic culture and also learn from jewish sources. But my point is, why should I? I can learn better by getting into greek thinkers.
Christianity to me was a wrapper around much more based thoughts, and why should I get into the personality cult of jesus? Its like when you listen youtubers, youre like "ok fine, you got a personality cult, but why should i give a shit". And then you go at the source and remove the youtuber from your life.
So overall, due to the way I was interpreting these religions, the people told me to get into islam. Evidently I have traits of the mind that would make me appreciate it. But, I didnt do it. I mean, I didnt feel it was necessary. I went into other conspiracies. We only have 1 life, if we waste it learning every single religion or every single ideology then we dont get a second chance. I have stuff to do, books to read. I cant read everything.
Many people told me I have an islamist mindset.

Read the Bible and interpret it yourself. Don’t let others try and interpret it for you. Also Greek philosophers can’t get you into heaven. Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and He resurrected He can get you into heaven.Sustacel250 wrote: 07 Nov 2025, 06:29 When I was discussing religion online, I always had people telling me Im perfectly suited for islam.
