Pseud means pseudo intellectual. Obviously is used negatively. Normies usually call you pseud if you make your mind about a topic but you didnt consult experts first, or you did not copy and paste ideas from jordan peterson or noam chomsky or you dont read bukowski. Or maybe you dont feel like writing useless academia papers and you prefer to shitpost online.

Some people use youtube = oral narration and they are also regarded as pseuds.

I think its fine. Incel and social isolation, over many years, made me much more concentrated on my hobbies. So I stopped years ago reading books performatively, these days I do literally what I want.
