North Sentinel Island is intriguing to me. Those are the most isolated people on earth. Last time they exchanged DNA with anyone from outside of their island was likely 30.000 years ago, when they came to the island. They are only about 100 people, so they are all heavily inbred. They kill anyone who steps on their island. They have nothing there except wood and animals. They make bows and arrows. They hunt fish.

In the 80s a container ship crashed there. They harvested the iron, which catapulted them to the iron age.

Nobody can speak their language. Nobody knows their culture, what they believe, what they think of the world. And nobody knows what they are doing in those bushes. There could literally be anything in it, since nobody can look inside except them, and they kill anyone who tries. Last time a guy came to show them the bible, they killed him.

They are by far the most isolated tribe on earth, and have no intention to ever have any contact with anyone outside. They have outlasted countless civilizations, countries, cultures, religions, within the past 30.000 years that they have stayed on their island. Just fishing, eating, sleeping, making babies, repeat, and kill anyone who comes, for 30.000 years.

Curious, isn't it?
