Someone who is deeply philosophical and emotionally mature will confront you with hard and pressing questions, and will generally expect more of you and submit less, whereas someone who is stuck in shallow thinking, always goes by contemporary trends, establishes their opinions on already established and common social norms and never seeks to challenge the social norm or seek knowledge outside the beaten path is much easier to manipulate and scare into submitting to you and your demands on the threat of leaving you forever (a sort of emotional hostage situation if you will, maybe a little bit of Stockholm Syndrome). I don't actually have a license or any sort of certification endorsed by the FAA that allows me to fly aircraft but I am certain that I have the requisite skill set, technical expertise and vicarious experience that would enable me to be functionally competent in operating and even landing large commercial airliners. I used to be fanatically committed to playing Microsoft Flight Simulator X (AKA, "FSX") and amassed a cumulative total of over 5,000 hours of simulated slight time which is comparable to the requirements for obtaining what is known as the ATP license here in the US which is essentially the PhD of pilots licenses. The aircraft I was photographed in belonged to a friend of mine who let me take the control stick and maneuver it for a while when we were at cruising altitude.
