It must not be that simple as we have deliberately decided to structure our organization along clearly delineated paramilitary lines whereby the hierarchy is an emulation of either a company level or battalion level military unit. While there is no precise correlation between rank and status here on the forums, only members who have been inducted in to the elite IPF are eligible for actually receiving assigned rank. Likewise, any member of the HQ staff who earns the rank of sergeant or above will always be a defacto moderator since they will necessarily also be a department head. I did create a rank/promotion guideline for the IPF many months ago and it can be found in the announcements but I will upload it here for your convenience.

Mentally Lost Cel serves in our security department and all members of that particular department must have moderator status in order to properly discharge their duties and responsibilities. In contrast, while you technically outrank our comrade (by two full grades) you serve in the recruitment department and their is no coherent reason why we would need to confer moderator status on comrades whose responsibilities in this organization are primarily external to the forums (e.g., advertising, inspiring, targeted recruitment in other forums, etc.). Also, I don't want too many mods in these forums yet as we have an insufficiently large forum population to justify any more then we presently have.

After much prodding by me, you did provide more clarification subsequent to this response. You also told LT McGee that the reason you couldn't be a fed was because you were from Yorkshire or some place in the northern UK, though you actually sounded like that drunken Scotsman from that quintessentially vile movie "Wonder Woman" or possibly even Commander Scottie from Star Trek.
