I believe Alek Minassian should be granted "Prisoner of War" status under the Geneva Conventions which Canada is a party to and be pardoned/given clemency given his extraordinary circumstances.
Geneva Conventions dictates prisoners of war should be released within three years upon being apprehended by enemy forces such is the case with Alek Minassian.
We call for his immediate release!
Should the Geneva Conventions apply to Alek Minassian?

For incels who are in Canada, that would be a great endeavor to embark on. I myself am in the U.S. so I can't go there given my usual NEETness and lack of access to reliable transportation.

Even for those of us who are very high functioning, have access to personal transportation and have financial means at our disposal, the border crossing at Niagara near Buffalo is absolutely excruciatingly slow and I speak from personal experience.

I will have to determine whether the Canadian Bar Association will grant me reciprocal privilege's in that country so that I can travel there, do the necessary legal research on his case and file a petition to the court of jurisdiction to have him released on the basis of your proposal. We could then induct him into the ranks of the IPF as an advisor on defensive driving tactics and make him responsible for our future vehicular and mobile operations.

It would be great if you could the conviction against him overturned! As he is indeed a prisoner of war and should be released at this point. But the sad reality of that actually happening is not so great but if it was he would be welcomed here on our forums and given that speciality!Darth_aurelius wrote: 13 Feb 2026, 11:45SonOfElliotRodger wrote: 12 Feb 2026, 18:49 I believe Alek Minassian should be granted "Prisoner of War" status under the Geneva Conventions which Canada is a party to and be pardoned/given clemency given his extraordinary circumstances.

I too have personal experience crossing the border into Canada as I have been there four times on that vacation and I too have used that crossing. I went with family whenever I went so I did not have to worry about transportation or financial concerns as family covered all expenses. It was slow but it was not all that bad.Darth_aurelius wrote: 13 Feb 2026, 11:41SonOfElliotRodger wrote: 13 Feb 2026, 10:50For incels who are in Canada, that would be a great endeavor to embark on. What was actually a pain in the ass was being subject to secondary screening this one time when returning home "being randomly selected for a vehicle search" as were the words of the CBP officer.
The security on the U.S. side of the border is really intense. Last time when I came back home, they had us turn the lights on in our car, and they scanned all of our faces and the abundance of security personnel there was just astounding.
On the US side they are practically just looking for a reason to snap and act like assholes.
I have been to Niagara Falls, Toronto and this other city whose name I forgot.
