Inflation caused by the federal reserve and taking the gold standard out of the dollar in 1913. Also income tax was established in 1913. Back in the day you could work a minimum wage job full time at a factory, afford rent or mortgage on a house and support a family of 5 on 1 income.

It’s not just people are lazy. You have Americans who work full time and are homeless sleeping in cars in Walmart parking lots. How tf are you homeless but work full time? It’s inflation. The dollar has lost its spending power.
