I actually find the concept of Militias to be fascinating. Have you heard of the Republic Of Texas and Richard Keyes iii? Him and his group had quite an adventure in the 90's.
That is an interesting theory but one that I can categorically disconfirm for you as my insomnia has been pervasive for a much longer period then the time of my life that happened to coincide with my time in the MM. And, in the words of Katsumoto from the Last Samurai, "only a man who is ashamed of what he has done cannot sleep". I served with honor and great distinction as first a soldier and eventually an officer and battalion executive officer in the militia so I had no regrets nor did I have any concerns about law enforcement since, like the IPF, the MM operated on the proverbial level.

I was looking for a means to express my discontentment with and incomprehension of normie society and popular culture writ large at the time and that was the primary inspiration for my commitment to the militia more so then any ideological convictions.

What I am trying to ask is if the foundation of the Militia was based on speech and peaceful actions instead of one might usually assume when they think of a militia? That's perfectly acceptable too. In fact it increases longevity of an organization.

I am happy to hear you promoting a sense of inclusiveness among Incels. You are absolutely right when you say racial, ethnic and geographic distinctions do not matter. A sense of brotherhood among Incels comes first and foremost. Religous demographics do not matter either.

Yes, the phrase "on the level" implies that no laws are being violated or transgressed upon. The MM was able to operate with impunity from law enforcement since it was really nothing more then a special interest group consecrated to the defense of the Second Amendment and the vigorous critique of what it perceived as excessive government intrusion into the lives of the citizenry. I've always been a libertarian, hence my affinity for the type of program the militia had espoused.
